The Day of Small Beginnings

Posted on March 31, 2026March 31, 2026 by D.S.

For who has shown contempt for the day of small things? But these seven will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—they are the eyes of the Lord roaming throughout the earth.” (New American Standard Bible)

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand. (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.) (New Living Translation)

Zechariah 4:10
